As an intern at our corporate headquarters, you’ll be part of a top-notch global workforce.

IT interns may support the IT team in one of the following areas:  

  • Software Development, support, and maintenance of RCG’s Enterprise & Shipboard systems 

  • Infrastructure Support & Maintenance of Servers, End-User Devices, Network, etc.  

  • Project Management facilitating the delivery of key initiatives 

  • Design & Architecture to solution new emerging technologies 

  • CyberSecurity to assess risk and mitigate existing threat landscape.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems 

  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support 

  • Organize and maintain IT resources 

  • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management 

  • Perform other duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: 

  • Must be employed from June 3rd - August 9th, 2024 on a full-time basis at our Miramar offices
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Technology field
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship. 
  • Role will require 40 hrs per week. 
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher 
  • High level of critical thinking 
  • Proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience 
  • Ability to think strategically while managing the details. 
  • Proven capability to excel in a fast-paced environment.  

Physical Demands  

  • While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a PC, communicate, listen, and assess information 

  • Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication 

  • Visual requirements include distant, close, and ability to adjust focus.   

  • The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations, and may lift, push, pull or move up to 25 pounds

  • The role will primarily function within the professional IT and business office environments located in South Florida-Miramar 

  • The space is in compliance with safety, environment, health, and accessibility requirements.  

  • The work environments are maintained to reinforce collaboration, motivation, and innovation to help maintain a vibrant and distinctive culture and a diverse workforce 

  • Fast-paced, fluid and innovative work environment 

  • May require travel to meet with external RCCL business partners 

  • May require travel to RCCL internal offices and/or ships
